It is cool that Nintendo is still honoring warranties even if you’ve used 3rd party peripherals. The only issues I’ve had with them in this whole thing is that it seems their recent update made these accessories even more probably to cause issues, and it doesn’t seem like they were super proactive in notifying customers. I get that they are legally covered already by their terms of service and whatnot, but I many would’ve appreciated more of a heads up before this came to a head.

“It’s also more challenging.” WHAT.

One of the whole reasons I like Super Mario Bros. 3 more than World is that is
it’s immensely more challenging. This is just…objectively true and it’s pretty common knowledge.

Honestly, I do not find the dock ugly at all. And really, it wouldn’t matter much, even if it were. Still, sorry to hear about the third party dock issues…

There is something that most people are either not aware of, or are forgetting.

Firstly, when the SWITCH was first produced, there was no standard for USB C, and, to this day, it still has not been completely decided upon, which is one of the reasons Microsoft will not use it.

Secondly, Nintendo NEVER filed for ANY kind of USB C compliance in their Patents.

As USB C is able to, Nintendo is well within their rights to draw as much power as their system might need, as long as it is safe, and not going to explode or cause fires or something.

As long as the CABLE you use has 56k OHMS protection, your SWITCH should be safe, regardless of what Dock and/or power bank you are using.
